Amy Lang, President, Global Operations

As president of global operations for CDS, Amy Lang leads business strategy, operations and delivery of demonstration services in Costco warehouses across twelve countries.  With a clear directive to engage members and influence purchasing through brand advocacy, product discovery and retail excitement, CDS makes member moments that matter.

Amy joined Advantage Solutions to lead CDS in July 2022 after 16 years demonstrating business leadership and impact in roles at her previous company, Staples.  At Staples, she led retail and sales operations, talent management, transformation strategy, brand and marketing. Prior to her time at Staples, Amy worked at Bain & Co., American Express and investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.

Amy received her BA in Economics from Williams College and her MBA from Harvard Business School. She is part owner of a local restaurant & an expanding locally-sourced fried chicken market, and loves to sample the newest dishes.

Roy Timmerman

Roy Timmerman, Vice President, International 

Roy Timmerman is Vice President of International for Club Demonstration Services, a subsidiary of Daymon Interactions.

He has been working in the retail industry since 2003 and during his time at Daymon Worldwide, Roy held several leadership positions throughout Asia and Europe. Roy was named Vice President of International for Daymon Interactions in 2010, where he managed multiple demonstration business units in Asia, Europe and South Africa.

In 2015, Roy was appointed to his current position with CDS. He is based in Japan and focuses his attention on our international business including Australia, China, France, Japan, Korea, Spain and Taiwan.

Dongkil Shin, Director of Human Resources 

Dongkil Shin is the Director of Human Resources for APAC overseeing HR for CDS Australia, China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

Dongkil has been with Daymon Korea and CDS Korea since 2015. During her time as HR Manager for both Daymon Korea & CDS Korea, she contributed to implementing both local and global HR policies/processes, including onboarding, transfers, promotions and global mobility for Korea team. In addition, she played a pivotal role in managing the restructure of Daymon Korea.

In 2019, Dongkil was appointed to her current position. She has been instrumental in implementing local and global HR policies/processes, managing HR global projects and initiatives across Asia Pacific region.

Osamu Yamada

Osamu Yamada, Country Manager, CDS Japan

Osamu Yamada is Japan Country Manager of Club Demonstration Services (CDS), a subsidiary of Daymon Interactions.

Osamu joined the company in 2018. Before he joined the company, he was General Manager of Trade Marketing Department Coca-Cola Customer Marketing Company. He developed and implemented category and channel strategies and oversaw five divisions.

In his previous roles he worked for Diageo Japan, Master Foods Japan, Budweiser Japan and NISSEI Colt.
